Do you know that YAH is having a BIRTHDAY BASH on Saturday 12^th December 2009?

YAH stands for Youth Advolution for Health, a youth health advocacy group which was formed in 2005 and supported by the Health Promotion Board. Our main aim is to engage youths from the age of 16-25 years old to instil awareness on youth health (issues on leading a smoke-free lifestyle, alcohol education, healthy eating,, mental wellness, Sexually Transmitted Infections/ AIDS, regular physical activity).

There are two sections to this AWESOME YAH BIRTHDAY BASH.

1. YOU and 500 other volunteers are going to embark on a meaningful initiative to spread positive health messages through a pledging initiative outside popular shopping malls as well as on the streets! J

2. There will also be a NIGHT CELEBRATION & CONCERT where activities such as music and dance performances etc will be held!

All volunteers will be given a FREE T-shirt designed by youths along with a coloured lanyard for identification purposes. In addition, there will be other perks and gains. You will be able to expand your social network of friends, embark in a meaningful activity and get more CE Points/CIP Points among many others! And not forgetting, you will get a chance to celebrate the founding of YAH too!

Note that there will be a training session for volunteers before the event, on either 5 Dec (Morning) or 7 Dec (Evening). Just pick one!
